The Shadow Side

Clouds overshadowing a resenting mountain

Heavy, dark, and purple on the bottom

So heavy, it’s about to explode

Into a defying steel cold rain

However, it’s not without purpose

It cleanses the mountainside in cool blue wash

It reminds it of its many living sprouts

It reminds it of its many strong roots

It reminds the mountain

of its again discovered life

On this side of the mountain

The shadowed side
